Tamworth FC can confirm that Harvey Sayer has left the club following a mutual termination of his contract.
Sayer joined The Lambs last summer, stepping up to National League football after an impressive campaign at Step 3. During his time at the Altair Community Stadium, the winger made 16 appearances, scoring three goals.
Speaking on the decision, manager Andy Peaks said:
“We are sad to see Harvey leave the club, but it is the right move for him in order to get more playing time. Harvey made the step up to National League football in the summer after showing real promise at Step 3 last year. He has been unfortunate with the game day opportunities he has had, given the breadth and depth of wide players in our squad. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
Everyone at Tamworth FC would like to thank Harvey for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him every success in the next stage of his career.
