Tamworth Football Club is delighted to confirm the arrivals of TJ Bramble and Morgan Roberts as the club’s first two signings ahead of the 2026/27 season in the National League.
Roberts is an exciting, attacking midfielder who made 45 appearances for Brackley Town in the National League last season. The 25 year old also has experience in the EFL playing in Leagues One and Two during his time at Northampton Town, where he came through the youth system.
Roberts said: "I'd describe myself as an exciting player. I love attacking and creating chances, I hope to get the fans off their seats and help contribute to wins for this club.
"It's been exciting times recently at Tamworth and I'm so excited to join at this time. I can't wait to meet the fans, give you all even more excitement and help push this club even further. Come On You Lambs!"
He also spent time in the Wales under 21's training camps which he described as his career highlight so far. Roberts mentioned: "Being able to train with my country was a great honour and is definitely my standout achievement to date."
A delighted Andy Peaks said: "Morgan is someone I've known for a long time and is a player that I have wanted to work with again ever since having him on loan with me at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
"He is a very creative player and no doubt someone that will add new quality to our team. I'm glad we have him with us this season!"
Also joining Andy Peaks' squad for the 2026/27 season is 25 year old defensive midfielder TJ Bramble.
Bramble began his career in the youth academy at Charlton, aged 11, and is an international star with Antigua and Barbuda. He arrived at The Lambs after an impressive season with Maidstone where he played 46 times, scoring four goals in National League South.
He said: "I'm a very hardworking player and I'll be looking to bring a lot of energy to be able to dominate games in the midfield. I cant wait for the season to start, meet the fans and show them what I can bring!
"Making my international debut at 16 years old was a monumental moment in my career and being able to represent them 21 times, scoring twice is just a dream come true!"
The manager is already excited by the prospect of working with TJ this season, saying: "TJ is a player we have watched very closely for a while now since coming on our radar.
"He is going to add a lot of strength and energy to our midfield, I am really pleased to have him on board."
Both midfielders are aiming to bring different qualities to Andy Peaks' squad for the upcoming campaign and hope to use their previous National League experiences to make next season another to remember.
