Lambs’ boss Andy Peaks has taken his tally of new signings to EIGHT this week with the arrival of centre half Tom Parkes and full back Tyler Little.
Parkes joins The Lambs from fellow National League side Hartlepool United while Lyttle arrives from Brackley Town, where he played alongside our first signing of the summer Morgan Roberts.
The highly experienced centre back has made more than 300 appearances in EFL League Two and over 100 in the National League. He says his “career highlight" was being part of a Bristol Rovers side that won back to back promotions, including a play-off final win at Wembley Stadium in 2015.

Parkes is certainly excited by his move to Tamworth, saying: “I’m really looking forward to playing for the club and in front of the fans, I can’t wait to have their support.
“I believe I will bring experience, add to the winning mentality that already runs through this squad and hopefully contribute some goals and clean sheets.”
Lyttle kicked off his career in the academy at Wolverhampton Wanderers before joining Bristol Rovers and making his professional debut in League Two.

He said: “My two most memorable moments in football so far was making my League Two debut for Bristol Rovers and also winning the National League North with Brackley.”
The full-back is looking to make an impression at Tamworth this season, adding: “I already can’t wait for the season to start, meet the fans and showcase myself to you all.
“I’ll bring energetic performances down the right hand side, with hopefully some assists to help win games and bring even more success to the club this upcoming season!”
Peaks believes he’s landed two key additions to the squad, explaining: “Tom has a wealth of experience and he’ll be a great role model for the younger lads. He’s brilliant in both boxes and everything seems to find his head, I’m really happy he’s with us.
“Tyler is a player I’ve admired for a while, he nearly signed for the club in my first year here. I’m glad to finally be able to work with him. He is a good defender with a lot of energy, works really hard and has a brilliant set piece delivery so it’s great to have him with us.”
Both players are looking to make an immediate impact as we start to prepare for the new season with the whole squad fully focused on kicking off the first campaign under new owners DGI in fine style.
