KICK OFF
The Lambs got the game underway on a pitch that looked as though it would cut up a play progressed, worked the ball forwards looking for an early breakthrough, but Woking coped and did likewise to get the ball down the other end.
Singh was forced to come and punch cross away while Morais did well to take the ball on his chest on 2 but was unable to do anything with the ball when it dropped.
A mistake at the back between Jaaskelainen and Odusina nearly let Tshikuna in with a sight on goal on 6 but a foul by the Lambs midfielder halted proceedings, and on 11 Hinds made headway down the right but floated his cross over the bar without troubling Singh.
Woking enjoyed a little more of the ball around the 15 minute mark but Tamworth were able to break towards the final third with Tshikuna striding towards the D on the edge of Jaaskelainen’s area after good work from Ponticelli on the right however, home defence were able to disrupt the move with a couple of dangerous crosses from Walker which Singh dealt with.
Singh was called upon on 25 to deny Beautyman when Ward’s cross was stabbed goalward, but the keeper performed superbly to push the ball up and over the bar onto the roof of the net from a yard out.
Chicksen made a nuisance of himself on the left forcing Tamworth’s back line to make last ditch blocks and clearances around the half hour mark, but The Lambs couldn’t capitalise from their defensive play and Woking’s Ward overhit the resulting pass back in counter attack.
Beautyman was booked for a late trip on Sundire on 31 and The Lambs maintained possession from the freekick ending on 34 with a long range shot on target from Maher which the keeper took easily.
There was an enforced break when Morias needed treatment on the field on 36 and The Lambs forced the first corner of the game on 39 giving the instigator, Maher, the flagkick on the right but it was too high for Digie to get his header on target at the far post.
The tall frame of Mazionis continued to be a thorn in The Lambs attacks so the ball went wide to Enoru and he saw come back off Hinds for another corner, on the left, which Tshikuna dropped into the box but Jaskelainen punched it away and Culey’s return ball was glanced well wide by Digie.
From the ensuing play the keeper was tested by a left footed strike from Enoru which deflected towards the top left corner.
Sundire was lucky to escape a booking following a foul on Ward and Gorman planted the freekick onto the head of Walker but his effort went up and over the target from 8 yards, and then Morrison struck right footed from the right channel from 18 yards and the home keeper tipped it over the bar for a corner which Walker headed away.
Two minutes added time were shown at the end of the half, which started slowly, but livened up later and somehow ended goalless.

HT 0-0
The cards restarted proceedings and immediately went on the offensive but were unable to get around the back of the Lamb defence.
Morrison was booked for a trip on Odusina on 46 and another foul on 48 gave Gorman the deadball in the left channel which he sent right footed into the box and Beautyman stretched to get his head onto the looping freekick but was inches away from connecting.
Tamworth were forced to deal with a 15 pass move by the home side and Morias was unable to get his shot away as The Lambs cleared the danger and the long ball to Ponticelli nearly gave the striker a chance to take it past Mazionis on the floor but the ball bobbled up and he was unable to control it effectively.
Digie was wrong footed by another bobble which saw Walker advance towards Singh on 53 but the keeper was able to boot the danger away and a minute later on the opposite channel, Andrews fired low and wide of the mark.
Enoru stepped across the run of Ward on 57 to set Gorman up with a strike on goal from 20 yards and he forced Singh to launch towards the left hand post as the ball whizzed past the upright.
Another Morias effort on the half volley on the edge of the area was take away from him by Digie for a corner on the hour which Mazionis seemed to have forced goalward only for Ponticelli to deny him with a hook away off the line.
The Lambs defended a Woking attack on 64 and when Sundire tried to work the ball out of the box, Gorman upended him, earning the home captain a booking.
In his final contribution of the game before being substituted Morias was unable to test Singh with a good chance on 66, lifting his strike from 18 yards high over the home terrace behind The Lambs keeper.
Peaks made three changes after that, with Creaney, McGlinchey and Tonks joining the fray and two Tonks long throws caused Jaaskelainen problems.
Walker picked up a booking after catching Curley as the Lambs defender tried to clear a back pass from Tonks but The Lambs were unable to prevent Hinds forcing a corner on 75 and Gorman’s corner eventually was fell back to Walker who struck powerfully from 20 yards and forced Singh to parry it away.
Woking kept up the pressure though, and Ward had a shot which appeared to come off the hand of Tonks but it was very close range and hotly disputed earning the substitute a booking. Effiong stepped up for the penalty and smashed it home to give the home side the lead (1-0, 78 mins)
Creaney did well to fire a low ball into the box from the left on 80, but Woking countered and Walker forced a corner on the left and Gorman swung it in onto the defensive head of Creaney.
Ward went down under a challenge from Curley just inside the area on the right on 86 but the referee waved away shouts for a second penalty and The Lambs did everything they could to keep the ball in the Woking half as the minutes ticked down.
And it brought it’s rewards on 88 when Raikhy sent a perfect ball into the area to be headed down by Creaney for Finn to rifle home from 6 yards out to the delight of the 101 travelling supporters (1-1, 87 mins)
Four minutes added time were shown at the end and McGlinchey chipped the ball for Digie but he couldn’t get direction or power on his header and in the next move McGlinchey and Creaney were involved again but Sundire couldn’t get over his volley and it rose over the target and the game ended in a point each.
