The home side got the game underway with The Lambs attacking the road end of the ground, and Barrett showed himself to be a handful up front for the Shots forcing Singh to protect his goal from a couple of early efforts.
Enoru too was showing himself to be a handful for the home side, with some meaningful runs down the left and Creaney struck a snapshot volley on 19 just over the target.
McGlinchey, Enoru and Cockerill-Mollett combined with a well worked move out of midfield on 27 to force a corner and on 39 Creaney nodded the ball down for Cockerill-Mollett to try a shot from the left of the area, but he was unable to get it on target to test Dewhurst.
And just before the break Milnes had to leave the field after going down for a second time and he was replaced by Fletcher as five minutes added time was shown and the final action of the first half saw Barrett smash a freekick off The Lambs defensive wall.
HT 0-0
After starting the second half, kicking towards the large terrace end of the ground, The Lambs took the lead four minutes in when Creaney rose unmarked to meet a Tom Tonks throw into the box with a deft glancing header to direct it towards the far post and past Dewhurst (0-1, 49 mins).
But the lead was short lived as Aldershot worked a set piece into an equaliser. Woodhouse made space in the box from a corner headed towards goal for Barham to flick past Singh into the roof of the net from 6 yards out (1-1, 53 mins).
And the Shots should have gone in front just two minutes after that as James Henry was slotted through by Josh
Creaney restored the advantage on 68 when Tonks’ quick thinking set Enoru down the line and he beat his man to deliver a low cross for the striker to fire in under and through the despairing grasp of Dewhurst (1-2, 68 mins).
Shots levelled once again though, with Woodhouse was again unmarked from a corner to connect with Barrett’s flagkick and forced the ball past Singh (2-2, 80 mins).
Barrett then drove forward and forged shot himself but could only fire agonisingly wide before The Lambs responded and Creaney forced Dewhurst to pull off an unorthodox save to deny his low strike from going underneath his body.
Aldershot themselves were denied a last minute victory when Widdrington struck a goalbound effort that Singh tipped around the post acrobatically as it looked to be heading into the top corner.
Five minutes added time were shown and played without any further breakthrough and the sides shared the points.
