Tamworth FC has bolstered its attacking options by signing striker Danny Waldron from Southend United on a loan deal that extends until the end of the season. Waldron, 28, joined Southend United in January 2024 from Rushall Olympic, where he had an impressive goal-scoring record.

At Rushall Olympic, Waldron netted 16 goals in 25 league appearances during the first half of the 2023/24 season. Prior to that, he played for Alvechurch, where he gained national attention by scoring twice in a memorable FA Cup victory over Cheltenham Town in 2022.

Tamworth FC supporters will be eager to see how Waldron’s proven goal-scoring abilities can contribute to the team’s success in the remainder of the season.
