Tamworth FC Ready for National League Challenge

Tamworth FC9 Jul - 12:17

Biggest season in decades kicks off at The Lamb – don’t miss a moment!

Tamworth FC’s return to the National League is now officially mapped out, and fans can finally start planning for what promises to be a blockbuster 2024/25 season.

The Lambs will kick off their campaign at home on Saturday, August 9 against Scunthorpe United, a mouthwatering fixture that sets the tone for a season packed with high-stakes battles and classic encounters.

After the opener, Tamworth will hit the road to face Southend United (August 16) and Gateshead (August 23), while hosting Truro City (August 19) and Brackley Town (August 25) at The Lamb – offering fans plenty of early chances to see their team in action on home soil.

Come September, the road gets tougher, with away days at York City, Sutton United, and Braintree Town, while October brings visits to Altrincham and Aldershot Town, before a return home clash with Morecambe on October 4.

A packed festive period includes a huge Boxing Day trip to Solihull Moors and back-to-back home games against Southend United and FC Halifax Town, leading into the business end of the season with big home ties vs Gateshead (January 3), Hartlepool (February 7), and Carlisle United (March 14).
