Tamworth FC have been drawn away to Stourbridge in the Quarter-Finals of the BCFA Senior Challenge Cup, with fixtures set to be played on or before Saturday 28th February 2026.
The Lambs booked their place in the last eight on Tuesday night, overcoming Alvechurch in testing conditions at the Altair Community Stadium. With snowfall blanketing the pitch throughout the evening, Andy Peaks’ side showed resilience and quality to secure a 2–1 victory, keeping alive their hopes of defending the trophy they lifted last season.
Despite the challenging weather, Tamworth produced a composed and determined performance, finding a way to win in a match that demanded both physicality and focus. The result underlined the squad’s depth and character, as they continue to compete on multiple fronts this campaign.
Now attention turns to the quarter-final stage, where a trip to Stourbridge awaits. With just three games standing between The Lambs and retaining the Senior Challenge Cup, the road to defend the title very much continues.
Further details regarding the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
