We are pleased to announce the merger of Tamworth FC Women’s First Team and Tamworth Mercian Women’s FC, effective immediately.

This move is the result of a shared vision, aligned values, and a strong synergy between both organisations. By combining resources, expertise, and passion, we are taking a significant step forward in strengthening women’s football across Tamworth.

The merger will provide a clear and sustainable pathway for players progressing through our ever-growing Girls Academy. It is fully supported by our newly established Women’s Development Team, our U18s, and our U19 Full-Time Female Scholarship Programme.

The combined squad will now proudly compete under the Tamworth FC banner. We believe this new structure will offer greater opportunities, support, and progression routes for women and girls in the game.

Staff announcements will follow shortly, and we look forward to introducing the individuals who will help shape this exciting new chapter.
