Abdullah Ashraf is a multi-sector entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Dawn Capital and Dawn Sports & Entertainment, two rapidly growing platforms operating across commercial real estate, professional football, and global investment. He oversees a commercial real estate portfolio exceeding $100 million in assets under management and has acquired, disposed of, and brokered more than $250 million in real estate transactions. In parallel, he holds ownership interests in Oklahoma United FC in the United States and Truro City FC in England, with a strategic focus on sports infrastructure, club development, and long-term franchise value creation.
Ashraf serves on the Oklahoma City for Soccer committee guiding the development of the new $121 million professional soccer stadium in downtown Oklahoma City, working alongside regional business and civic leaders including Bill Anoatubby and the Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma. Widely regarded as a prominent young investor and sports executive in Oklahoma City, he has built strong relationships with family offices, institutional investors, and banks of all sizes, and has operated across every stage of the commercial real estate lifecycle—including acquisition, brokerage, capital structuring, development, leasing, and disposition.
Known for his ability to identify undervalued assets, assemble high-performance operating teams, and execute value-add strategies at speed, Abdullah is among the youngest executives actively operating across both the North American and British football ecosystems. His work sits at the intersection of strategic finance, real asset development, and regional economic growth, positioning him as an emerging figure in the investment community and the global football industry.

And our new shareholder and director is certainly delighted to have become a part of the Lambs set-up, saying: “I believe there are exciting times ahead for Tamworth as a club and as a central part of the local community, I know the new Chairman has big ambitions for the club and I will do all I can to help him make those ambitions become realities. I’m sure if everyone commits to working together - the board, the management, the team, the fans and the town itself - I am convinced we can make some real progress real soon.”
Nathan might now be based in Jacksonville, Florida, but his first sporting experiences were here in the UK. He is originally from Northampton and was part of the Northampton Town academy from the age of eight. He represented Northamptonshire county boys at under 16 and under 18 levels and played semi-professionally for Kettering Town, Rothwell Town and Wellingborough Town between the ages of 17-20. He then joined West Bromwich Albion where he became an Academy coach and scout between 2009-2011.
In 2011 he moved to the United States to work at the level just below Major League Soccer and progressed to become the youngest Sporting Technical Director in US professional soccer at the age of just 26. He went on to complete the largest transfer deal in lower professional US Soccer history and become the youngest US Team President at the age of 27.
In 2022 he founded NIAR Holding Company, a firm specialising in sports and business consulting, sports investment, and real estate development. NIAR has partnered on ventures in residential and mixed-use real estate, including major sports stadium developments and Nathan’s knowledge and experience in government and public affairs has been instrumental in these initiatives. He has also advised high-net-worth individuals and private equity firms on sports and business acquisitions.
Nathan currently serves as Secretary of the Executive Board for the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), is Board President of the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville, a Board Member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, and was honored as a “40 Under 40” recipient by the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2025.

What’s more construction firm The Altair Group, where he is a director, is Tamworth’s main shirt sponsor and stadium sponsor. Scott’s passion for Tamworth FC, his dedication and service to the club and his business skills and acumen were immediately recognised by new owners, Dawn International Group. He was quickly identified as the perfect man to become the club’s new Chief Executive.
His role is to ensure the smooth transition of the takeover and to kick-start a bright new era for Tamworth FC. His knowledge and experience of the traditions and history of the club will certainly be invaluable to new Chairman Abdullah Ashraf and director Nathan Walter. Scott’s established links with local businesses and supporters are also key attributes.
Scott’s football career began with a seven and a half year stint at Derby County who initially signed him as a schoolboy. He joined Tamworth in 2001 and in a two and a half year spell he played in an FA Trophy final and helped the club win promotion. He was then sold to Kidderminster Harriers who were managed at the time by Liverpool legend Jan Molby. He returned to Tamworth for a second spell as a player in 2005 and also went on to play for Solihull Moors, Brackley Town and Nuneaton Borough.
Coaching became a new ambition and Scott successfully studied for his Professional Coaching Licence and in 2015 became Head of Recruitment and Academy coach at Mansfield Town. He later returned to Derby County as a coach to the under 13s squad and combined this with a triple role at Tamworth taking on the general manager, commercial manager and Academy manager roles.
