It’s always a battle against Brackley Town, and today promises to be another tough fixture at the Lamb. Andy Peaks reflects on the first few games of the season and the importance of your incredible support:
“The players showed what we are really all about. The intensity was good, the tempo we played at was good, and the atmosphere in the ground was good too.”
After three games, Peaks is pleased to see points on the board and believes the squad is starting to gel. He praised the lads’ display against Truro, saying we could have had seven or eight goals on the night with the chances created.
The nucleus of last season’s squad has stayed, but with new faces bedding in, Peaks is confident the team will continue to grow stronger with every match.
The gaffer also highlighted the brilliant support at the Lamb on Tuesday night – over 1000 home fans under the lights, backing the boys all the way. That noise and energy makes a huge difference, and he’s certain those who came will want to return.
So let’s keep the momentum going. Keep the noise levels high, keep backing the lads, and let’s make this another memorable season together!
