Morgan Roberts was the one to retake the lead eight minutes after the restart, but the visitors pulled level again on the 63rd minute through Lennell John-Lewis.

Bramble said: “I thought we dominated the game.

“I thought we were in it from minute one to the end. Taking the lead twice was important, but it’s just the defensive side of things at the moment that are just not going our way. We’re needing to score four or five to win games. Overall, it’s still a point, and we take it from here.

“It’s definitely disheartening, it’s frustrating. It just feels like two points dropped [more] than anything else, that’s the most frustrating thing about it.”

Discussing his thoughts on the goals scored by Roberts and Donnelly, he said: “They’re very good players.

“KD has been on fire since the start of the season, Morgs has been good, and when they’re firing it helps us as a team. This is why it’s frustrating when we’re conceding not so good goals.”
Bramble was also happy to pick up the award for the man of the match.

“It’s always nice to get them personal accolades or whatever, but I’m just more frustrated with how the game went today because it feels like two points dropped.

“The supporters have been great since the first day I’ve come in, and we’re going to need them throughout the whole season, so as long as they’re here in their numbers like they were again today, I think they can be our twelfth man.”
