Tamworth Football Club is delighted to confirm that Daniel Creaney has joined the Lambs on a permanent deal, following his recent loan spell at The Lamb Ground.

The striker returns to Tamworth from Solihull Moors, committing his future to the club on an 18-month contract, keeping him at the Lambs into next season.

Creaney is no stranger to Tamworth supporters, having enjoyed an outstanding previous spell with the club. A proven goalscorer, Dan netted over 100 goals in more than 200 appearances, playing a key role in the club’s recent successes and establishing himself as a firm fan favourite.

Manager Andy Peaks expressed his delight at securing the forward’s return on a permanent basis.

“I have been trying to get Dan back ever since his loan period ended in December. We have been sorting things out with Solihull and this is something Dan and I wanted to happen,” said Peaks.

“He is a proven goalscorer and we all know what he brings to the team. He works well with me and I think I create an environment where he knows he can flourish."

“This is an 18-month deal so we are really pleased that we have Dan committed for next season too. I hope that Dan hits the ground running and gets us the goals to take us where we want to go in this league.”

Creaney initially re-joined the Lambs on loan earlier this season and made an immediate impact, adding experience to the squad while continuing to demonstrate his natural eye for goal.

His permanent return is a significant boost as Tamworth FC look to build momentum and push on in the National League, with a player who knows the club, the supporters, and what it takes to be successful in a Lambs shirt.
