Tamworth manager Andy Peaks hopes to see a good turnout of fans for our final pre-season friendly this Saturday away against AFC Telford United at the SEAH stadium at 3pm.

Peaks has been looking for his side to continue to improve as our first National League game against Boreham Wood is just over a week away. Saturday’s opponents are members of the National League North and will prove a tough final test of our preparations before attention turns back to competitive football for the next nine months.

Our seven previous pre-season fixtures have accumulated three wins, two draws and two losses so The Lambs will be looking to end on a win in Telford on Saturday. One thing that has been missing this pre-season has been a clean sheet, after conceding late against Macclesfield on Tuesday, the Lambs boss says “there will be times where they come”. So hopefully Saturday will be the first of many.

Fans planning to attend the SEAH to support Andy Peaks’ men will need to know:

• Address - The Bucks Way, Wellington, Telford, TF1 2TU
• Train Access: Wellington Station is about a 10-minute walk from the ground.
• Turnsiles open at 1.5hrs before kick off.
• Car parking is £5 and payment is accepted at the machines or ticket office.
• Disabled fans are accounted for with disabled entrances and toilets.
