Following the exciting recent takeover of Tamworth Football Club, we are thrilled to announce a strategic restructure within our Academy management team. These changes are designed to bridge the gap between youth development and senior football, ensuring our young talent has the best possible pathway to the first team.
As the club begins its transition toward a more full-time model in the future, aligning our academy infrastructure with the first-team setup is a vital step forward. Here is how our management structure is evolving:
Tim Dudding – Academy Director & 1st Team Coach
We are delighted to announce that Tim Dudding will be stepping up into the role of Academy Director, whilst maintaining his vital role as 1st Team Coach. In this elevated position, Tim will oversee the entire player development blueprint, creating a seamless, elite pathway from the youth ranks straight into the first-team squad. This strategic alignment will also afford Tim more time on the grass with our 1st Team players, ensuring that the philosophy and standards of the senior squad are embedded across all development levels.
MJ Hallett – Education Manager (U19/U23) & U23 Head Coach
Alongside his current role as U23 Head Coach, MJ Hallett will be taking on the crucial position of Education Manager for our U19 and U23 Scholarship programmes.
MJ will be responsible for balancing our players' athletic progression with their academic success. His role will entail managing the day-to-day educational curriculum, ensuring qualification excellence, and mentoring our scholars to succeed both on the pitch and in the classroom.

A Word From The Gaffer...
First Team Manager Andy Peaks shared his thoughts on the new structure and how it will impact the club's long-term vision:
"This restructure is a massive step forward for the club. Having Tim bridge the gap between the Academy and the First Team ensures we are all pulling in the same direction, which is vital as we look toward a more full-time model.
"With MJ overseeing the educational side for our U19s and U23s, we are guaranteeing that our young players are developing as well-rounded individuals. This alignment makes our pathway stronger than ever, and it's going to vastly benefit our first-team progression over the coming seasons."
This restructure marks a massive step forward for the Lambs, creating a sustainable, professional environment for the next generation of talent built on our core values:
